Greg Spiro
Greg has thirty years' experience in Organisation Development, helping clients lead and manage change.
As a mediator he addresses the kind of interpersonal and organisation conflict that can beset the work and lives of leaders, their teams and networks. This often leads on to the need to develop collaborative capability.
Greg has worked in both public and private sectors, from global brands and the computing industry to investment banking, health and broadcasting. He is particularly interested in the interplay between strategic context, corporate culture and cross-cultural factors in managing international organisations. This was given full rein working with the United Distillers Executive as a 'change agent' for 8 years following the Guinness acquisition of the Distillers Company. Greg is a worldwide player, notably in North America, Australia and Asia where his work with joint ventures has drawn together many of his skills as a kind of 'corporate diplomat'.
He likes teaching leaders and graduate students. 'I find consulting and teaching go hand in hand as a perfect combination of comparative experience and conceptual knowledge. Above all, I believe in a facilitative, coaching approach underpinned by expertise.'
