Elizabeth Nicholson

The greater part of Elizabeth's career has been in professional and senior management roles in law, banking, healthcare and communications. She has worked in partnerships, large commercial organisations and smaller enterprises and has taught and mentored in the charitable and educational sectors.

Her banking experience was gained at a time when both industry and organisations were in the midst of monumental change. Political and aggressive behaviours were rife. Her interpersonal, mediation and negotiating skills were in constant demand. The international aspects of her roles in the financial sector and her work across disciplines in healthcare have given her a nuanced grounding in culture and cross-cultural interaction.

In the course of her various leadership, management, advisory and teaching roles, she has been called on to chair, facilitate and mount investigations.

"I bring all this experience to my current work - and there is a thread running through it: I am fascinated by the degree to which behaviour facilitates or impedes progress - whatever strategies, laws, regulations or treatment plans are in place'.
