Post-aquisition integration

An eight year assignment following the take-over of the Distillers Company by Guinness Group PLC, as the new company evolved into a global player, eventually merging with Grand Metropolitan to form Diageo PLC.

Much of the work involved designing and implementing culture change initiatives, coaching senior executives, and dealing with the intractable problems arising in strategic alliances when an exciting business case for joint ventures is not always matched by cultural compatibility.
