Guinness Group plc
A major international assignment over 8 years between the acquisition of the Distillers Company and the merger with Grand Metropolitan into Diageo. The role involved:
• helping brand company directors and their teams adapt to a brand portfolio strategy and a performance culture
• evolving and implementing a worldwide culture initiative. This enabled the diverse international community to communicate and ‘do business with each other’ across their networks
• contributing to change issues as independent member of Asia Pacific Executive Committee addressing joint venture management issues in the company's alliance with LVMH
• working with new CEO of UD Australia and the Executive Committee on a successful turnround
• coaching the United Distillers Executive Committee as a team and individuals faced with demanding leadership and management issues
• coaching CEO in his transition to CEO and Chairman and CEO of Guinness Group.
