Strategic alliance management with the principals and joint venture MDs and their teams in the USA and Asia (Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan).

The two principals were characterised by contrasting management styles at a time of rapid business growth in the regions served by the joint ventures distributors. There were complex cultural dynamics and some unusual operational challenges as a result of an anti-counterfeit campaign run alongside 'business as usual' in the markets.

The work was classic Organisation Development - a mixture of 'corporate diplomacy', coaching, challenging and team development in order to help evolve more viable approaches to management by the principals and those running the joint ventures in the market.
